Users of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later can access Credo from any web site using our Toolbar. It's quick and simple to install and offers a wealth of functionality.

A word about security setting.

  • Browsers need a security setting of medium or lower to install and use the Toolbar.
  • These settings can be accessed from Internet Options under the Tools menu.
  • Check your settings and then follow the instructions below.

Installing the Toolbar

  1. Click Credo toolbar and select Open or Run from the window(s) that appear.
  2. Follow the instructions of the Toolbar installer (itself just two simple steps).
  3. You're done! New browsers will display the toolbar.
  4. Open a new browser window to use your Toolbar.

Removing the Toolbar

  1. Close all Internet Explorer windows.
  2. Go to your Windows Control Panel and open Add or Remove Programs.
  3. For version 1.9 users, select Xreferplus Toolbar from the list and click Remove. For version 2.0 users, select Credo Reference Toolbar and click Remove.
